SUMMER LADIES LEAGUE

JUNE 2^nd - JULY 25^th

We are offering a fun, organized, summer league for ladies to enjoy over the summer.  It will be a Round Robin style format. Draw size will be based on the number of registered players.

COST:

• TO REGISTER: $70 fee per person (subs don't pay the registration fee); Registration fee is non-refundable once draws are made.
• Includes:
  • Registration Fee
  • League Match Fees
  • Balls For Each Match
  • Raffle Prizes Each Week
  • 1st & 2nd Place Prizes

 FORMAT: 

• Round Robin Style Women's Doubles with Play Offs
• 7 weeks (Depending on the draw size possible 1 bye week)
• Draw size based on the number of players registered
• Matches will be played at Beaver Park and Thomas Park

CRITERIA:

• TEAM= 2 players
• Players need to play at their level or higher, never down! If a player is found to play below their level, that player will be removed from the draw without a refund. 
• You need to have a doubles partner to register!

• SUB PLAYERS:
  • Must be the same level! Players can't play down. 
  • Players are responsible to find a sub player and let the facility know. 
  • Sub players are not guaranteed to play any matches. Sub player is called to replace a player who is not available to play a match.

LEAGUE RULES

• Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes before your match to receive your court assignment.
• Weather Policy: Acadiana Serves will determine if the courts are playable in case of inclement weather.
• Match Format: Matches consist of two regular sets (7-point tiebreaker at 6-6). If each team wins one set, a 10-point tiebreaker will decide the match.
• Scheduling & Forfeits:
  • Matches must be played at the scheduled time.
  • If a team cannot play with its original players or an approved substitute, the match is forfeited.
  • If both players from a team need substitutes, the opposing team automatically wins by forfeit.
• Rescheduling & Substitutions:
  • Matches rescheduled for any reason other than rain will count as a sub match for both teams.
  • A forfeited match also counts as a sub match for the forfeiting team.
  • Substitutes must come from the approved sub list or be approved by Acadiana Serves.
• Rain Makeups: All rain makeup matches must be completed before the last scheduled match of the season.
• Sub Match Limits:
  • Only two matches with substitutes per summer will count as wins toward 1st or 2nd place.
  • Any additional sub matches (three or more) will not count as a win toward 1st or 2nd place, but the losing team will still receive a loss.
• Tiebreakers: If teams are tied in standings, the winner will be determined by:
  1. Head-to-head results
  2. Fewest sets lost
  3. Fewest games lost
